How Long Does An SSDI Federal Appeal Take?

Watch this video by dedicated Buffalo disability attorney Justin Jones, Esq. as he explains how long an SSDI Federal Appeal Takes.

One of the things we often get asked is how long does an appeal take with Social Security Disability in the federal court. The process we generally estimate at twelve to 24 months.

I know that does sound quite daunting. It’s a pretty long time frame. But in that period we are filing our federal court brief, we are doing legal research into your case, there’s a lot of things going on in the background.

In addition, while that’s all going on, you’re not precluded from filing a new application for Social Security Disability. You can have two cases going on at the same time, that is something we often do. So while it is a pretty long time frame, 18 to 24 months, there are other options going on at the same time.
