Ida Comerford - Personal Injury & Social Security Disability Attorney

Ida joined the law firm in 2010 as part of a team of five hearing attorneys in the area of Social Security disability law.  Over time, Ida took on a leadership role in the firm and helped grow it into a firm of over 20 attorneys and 90+ total employees.  Ida has been involved in training and growing the administrative and appellate departments of the Social Security disability group.  She believes that an aggressive approach to advocacy is key to helping clients get the benefits they deserve.  To do so, Ida has implemented a strong training system for attorneys and firm leadership.  She has been a speaker at the National Organization of Social Security Disability Representatives and recently concluded a three year term as the Erie County Bar Association’s Chair of the Disability Committee. 

Ida was born in Buffalo, New York, spent time in San Diego, California and now resides in Rochester, New York with her husband and three children.  Licensed to practice law in New York, Illinois, and Georgia, Ida is also admitted to a number of District Courts and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
