Remy Militello, Esq.
Remy is originally from Florida but made his way to Buffalo at a young age. He attended the State University of Buffalo for both his undergraduate and professional degrees. While at UB, he received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy. Following his undergraduate education, he attended the law school of his adopted hometown. He interned at Prisoners’ Legal Services and Journey’s end Refugee Services. Two positions that introduced him into the realm of helping others. Remy graduated from University at Buffalo Law School in 2015 and passed the bar on in his first attempt. Then he went out to work in the world of Western New York. His legal career began in earnest at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he was in-house counsel and served as defense for motor vehicle accidents. After that he made the move to Rupp Baase Pfalzgraf Cunningham LLC, handling a variety of matters ranging from contractual disputes to products liability cases. However, while he was there he had an epiphany that he did not want to serve big corporations for the rest of his life. He wanted to help actual people better their lives in very material ways, to finally make a positive impact in the world.
With this new purpose in mind he would find himself with the Law Offices of Kenneth Hiller, PLLC, Remy serves as a Hearing Attorney representing clients in hearings to fight for disability benefits under both the SSD and SSI programs. He works hard to prepare his cases and clients for the unique challenges of the hearing. Remy loves his job helping others. Positive feedback from the clients will always make his day. In his free time Remy recently finished writing his first book, and hopes to have it published someday soon. He is a massive fan of horror and perhaps has an unhealthy obsession with Godzilla and card games. Most of all he loves spending time with his wife and three cat-children.
